For each new patient that was added during the first step of ordering a new BiomeOne® Analysis test kit, a new entry was created in the patient list. Here you can see the status of each patient's last analysis and when the update was available. Patient name, gender, date of birth and diagnosis are also displayed as a brief summary of patient information.
In the "Last analysis status" column, you can track the progress of your analysis. The platform notifies you when the kit has been dispatched (Dispatched), when the patient returns the sample (Sample returned), when the sample is being analyzed in the laboratory (In laboratory) and when the bioinformatic analysis is still ongoing (Analysis pending) or already completed (Download report).
If you klick the (plus) sign in front of the patient's name, you can access all kits registered to a specific patient's name and track the progress of the analysis.
You do not need to re-enter all the requested patient information for a patient already registered in your list. To order a new analysis for an already registered patient, you only need to click on the "Order new analysis" button followed by "Search patient" in the first step of your order when you enter the patient details.
Once you have found the patient in the list for whom you would like to order a new analysis, click on "Complete". You will be asked to update the patient's clinical data and confirm whether or not the patient has received checkpoint inhibitor therapy.
In the "Remarks" field, you can indicate whether this new order is a replacement for a previously ordered kit that either did not meet the sampling requirements or was lost in shipping.
