Patient information
In the first step, you will be asked to enter patient information. If you are ordering a new analysis for a patient who has already been added to the patient list, you do not need to add the basic information section. This section will be filled in automatically as soon as you find the patient in your list using the search function.
You will need to provide the following personal information of the patient:
Patient name and last name
Biological sex
Date of Birth
The analysis product is “BiomeOne”. You can select other products in this section in the future, which will be added depending on availability. BiomeOne® Analysis is intended for biological men and women between the ages of 18 and 90 who have been diagnosed with stage III/IV non-small cell lung cancer, renal cell carcinoma or melanoma. More details about the general description of the product and its intended use can be found here.
You will also be asked to provide clinical information about the patient. This section must be updated each time you order a new analysis, both for new and existing patients.
In the diagnosis field, you can choose between melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, renal cell carcinoma or other diagnoses.
You can also enter the patient's weight and height.
The tumor stage according to UICC allows you to classify the tumor stage into I, IIa-b, IIIa-c, IVa-b and unknown.
You can also provide information on the number of treatment lines (0-10).
Another relevant question is whether the patient has received checkpoint inhibitor therapy before the BiomeOne® Analysis is performed.
If you answer “yes” to the previous question, you will be asked about the type of immune checkpoint inhibitor administered to the patient (CTLA-4, PD-L1, PD-1), the duration of treatment in weeks, the type of clinical response of the patient to the immunotherapy administered (complete responder, partial responder, stable disease or progressive disease) and whether the patient had any immune-related adverse events. If the patient has experienced adverse effects, you will be asked to rate the severity on a scale from 0 (asymptomatic) to 5 (death).
Once you have completed the patient's basic and clinical data, you can proceed to the next step by clicking Next.
Order details
You will be asked to enter your billing address in the order details.
The costs for the test can be borne either by the patient or by the doctor's surgery/hospital.
If the cost of the test is to be covered by the patient, you will be asked to enter the patient's address details (street, zip code, town and country). You can then choose whether you would like to send the invoice by post to the billing address provided or print it out at the end of your order. As the shipping and billing addresses may be different, you will be asked if you want to use only one address or if the BiomeOne® Analysis test kit should be sent to a different address.
If the cost of the test is to be covered by a doctor's surgery/hospital, you will be asked to provide information about the affiliation of the doctor commissioning the analysis, the address and optionally the VAT number of the doctor's surgery/hospital. In this step, you also have the option of entering a different delivery address. This allows you to choose whether the patient receives the BiomeOne® Analysis test kit directly at home or whether you would like us to send the kit to you so that you can then give it to your patient.
⚠ If you choose the latter, make sure that the ID of the kit matches that of the patient you have entered into our system, as this can lead to incorrect results being delivered to the patient, which can have a serious impact on the treatment outcome.
Confirmation
In the last step, you will receive the order summary, which contains the patient information with the basic and clinical data as well as the billing/shipping data. After you have carefully checked all the information in the individual steps, complete your order by clicking on “Submit”. If you spot any mistakes in the fields or make a typo, simply click "Back" to correct the information.
After you have clicked on “Submit”, you will receive a confirmation of your order and an invoice by e-mail. You can track the status of the test kit on the “Patients” tab.
